REINCARNATION: SPIRIT OF THE BELIEF IN OUR CLIME   “Reincarnation” connotes coming back to life, of the same person that had died. It means “Re-embodiment”. He comes back to earth, having taken another body, and is no more present in the spirit world. Whether, or not, this is possible, has been a subject of interesting debate in several quarters.    Some religions and persons believe in reincarnation as explained above, and some members of some esoteric organizations even talk about their personal experiences of coming and going, and claim to remember their past incarnations. I wonder why only those few of them remember past incarnations. If what they claim is true then it means that God wants only insignificant few to know what they know and not the generality of humanity. According to an important Igbo adage, if a child is crying and pointing at a particular direction, you can be sure that if his mother is not there his father is there. That action of the child is, therefore, a dependable indicator with which something invaluably valuable can be found for him. Nigerians are crying and pointing in the direction of Restructuring.   Crying because we are badly hurting in a systemic bondage where aridity and ineffectuality greet our every hard effort, because all efforts are exerted in a system that is on a blighted template. THE SURGE OF THROMBOTIC STROKE

I had a stroke on October 10 2013. I am satisfactorily recovering. The experience I have gone through is what I cannot wish anyone no matter how evil that one is. This is what has informed this sharing. When I was in the hospital following the stroke, I made an interesting observation from my cubicle at the Accident and Emergency Unit, which was situated at the end of the block and had a window overlooking the last entrance to the hospital, Mother of Christ Specialist Hospital Enugu. I could see the entry-park and arrivals.   I frequently saw middle-aged prosperous-looking people, often alighting from flashy, glitzy, swanky cars, limping out or being carried out.
